St. Croix Sojourn

From May 27 to June 11, personnel from national, state and local agencies will join together to paddle the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, sharing knowledge and information about their work and this valuable resource. You are invited to paddle along certain segments and learn about the Riverway, meet the people who work in natural resources within the watershed, and spend time getting to know the river in your own way.

Public Paddle Trips

Come out for some floating fun! Meet and learn about the river from local natural resource professionals. All paddlers are required to have their own gear and transportation. Check the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway website for outfitter information or river section maps. No registration for public paddle trips is required. Anyone younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Landing Events

Don't want to get your paddle wet? Events are scheduled at select landings along the way. Local natural and cultural resource professionals will be on hand to share knowledge, provide insight and answer questions about the significance of the watershed and St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. Come to share your Riverway memories and learn how this great resource is being managed today.

Tuesday, June 10 6 pm-9 pm William O'Brien State Park, Marine-on-St. Croix, MN (12 miles north of Stillwater on State Highway 95)
